Willesden Trades Hall – project coordinator opportunity

The Willesden Trades Hall Charity is looking to appoint a Project Coordinator to manage a National Heritage Lottery Fund Resilience and Engagement project. The Willesden Trades Hall is located at 375 High Road, London NW10 2JR in the London Borough of Brent.

The Project Coordinator will consult with the community to determine future uses of the building and will convey this to the architect who will provide an understanding on the building’s condition to help to develop a costed major refurbishment plan. Following the Resilience project capital funds will be sought for this refurbishment.

The role involves a governance review, working with other professionals, the steering committee and the board of trustees and consulting with different groups from a multi-ethnic and very diverse local community to gain an understanding of the condition of the building, to identify potential new uses, and recruiting and training volunteers. The project is governed by the Willesden Trades Hall Charity and its board of trustees.
