Postcards in Perspective: Brent Now and Then

Drop-in and join us for “Postcards in Perspective: Brent Now and Then,” a unique community workshop where creativity meets history.

This interactive event invites participants to explore the concept of decolonisation through the art of postcard making. If you don’t what that is, then come and find out too.

Using postcards from the British Empire Exhibition in the Brent Museum and Archive, and we encourage you to bring your own postcards and photographs (copies can be made so you don’t lose your originals) we will create visual narratives that bridge the past and present.

The aim is to deepen our collective understanding of Brent’s history and its ongoing journey towards a more inclusive future.

All ages and artistic abilities are welcome – come share your perspective and be part of the conversation!

This is a drop-in activity so you are welcome to come and go.
