This week we have an alternative title for one of the Kaliedoscope Cats by Louis Wain, which has come from a visitor to the current exhibition Communicating Through Cats: The Art and Mind of Louis Wain. The accompanying explanation highlights how Louis Wain’s illustrations still strike a chord with viewers in the 21st century, even though they were painted 100 years ago.
- Alternative title: Information overload cat. (The way that we are surrounded by layers of virtual information from i-phones, internet etc in the modern world leaves us bug-eyed and reeling like this cat)
