Visitor object caption #3

During half-term last week we ran two family events at Brent Museum, during which children made kaleidoscopes inspired by the current exhibition Communicating Through Cats: The Art and Mind of Louis Wain.

This week’s visitor object caption was written by one of the children who attended the half-term events. At the turn of the twentieth century, the Louis Wain cat was incredibly popular with Edwardian children and appeared in many children’s books. Judging by this visitor’s response, Wain’s art still has the power to amuse and amaze young people, which is a fantastic legacy.

Vistor caption: I like the Three Cats and a Plum Pudding because it is silly and funny. I have never seen anything like it.
