Visitor object caption #1

Visitors to our current exhibition at Brent Museum, Communicating Through Cats: The Art and Mind of Louis Wain, can contribute to the interpretation of Louis Wain’s art by writing their own object captions. These can be anything from personal responses to the work, suggestions of alternative titles, thoughts on what might have been going through the artist’s mind at the time or even musings on what the cats might be saying to one another within the pictures!

Each week, our Exhibitions Officer will select a visitor caption to go up on this blog, so keep an eye out for yours! And don’t forget that you can add your own comments on here too.

Visitor caption: ‘What do you see? A happy cat? A smug cat? Or the cat that’s got the cream?!’

I am happy because everyone loves me by Louis Wain. On loan from the Bethlem Art and History Collections Trust.
